Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden over Russia’s decision to recognize the so-called “republics” in the occupied territories of Ukraine, Ukrainian media reported.
“We have discussed the recent events with the President of the United States of America. We are starting the session of the National Security and Defense Council,” the Ukrainian leader wrote on his Twitter page.
Zelensky added that in the near future a telephone conversation is planned with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson regarding the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to recognize the so-called DPR and LPR.
