On 22 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will discuss the implementation of agreements on Nagorno Karabakh, the Kremlin Press Service reported.
“On 22 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is in Russia on an official visit. It is planned to discuss the whole range of issues of further development of bilateral relations, that is, political, trade, economic and humanitarian,” the report reads.
In addition, the implementation of the agreements on Nagorno Karabakh signed between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on 9 November, 2020 and 26 January, 2021, including measures to restore economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus will be discussed.
“After the results of the talks, a declaration on allied cooperation will be signed, which will bring the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan to the allied level,” the statement reads.
