According to a study presented in the US CDC Weekly Disease and Mortality Report, severe cases of COVID-19 and deaths are rare among those vaccinated.
The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported.
- Vaccinated COVID-19 individuals had at least one risk factor (age 65 and over, suppressed immunity, etc.), at the same time people who were vaccinated and died had more than four risk factors..
- Additional (booster) doses of the vaccine, proper management of chronic diseases, wearing of masks, maintaining social distance and effective treatment reduces the risk of severe COVID-19.
