One of the colonels of the National Security Committee has been found dead in Kazakhstan

Colonel of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan (NSC) Azamat Ibrayev was found dead in Nur-Sultan. The Committee informed on January 10, Izvestia reports.

It is mentioned that Ibrayev was found in the yard of his house.

Earlier it became known about the death of Major General of the Kazakh Police Janat Suleymenov.

It should be reminded that the protest actions in Kazakhstan started in the first days of the New Year. Residents of the town of Janaoze and Aktau protested against the doubling of the price of liquefied natural gas, which the Ministry of Energy explained by the fact that from 1 January, prices on the electronic stock exchange began to form on the basis of supply and demand.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has replaced the country’s first leader Nursultan Nazarbay from the position of the Head of the Security Council amid protests.
