Residents of some districts of Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, are ready to pay $ 100 for bread due to lack of food. A resident of the city’s elite district in a conversation said in an interview with Sputnik Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti reports .
The latter stated that after the pogroms in their area not far from the airport, the supply of essential goods has been stopped.
“It seems that we are cut off from civilization, there is no internet, no gas, no food in the area, my family and neighbors are even ready to pay $ 100 for bread, but it is nowhere to be found,” an Almaty resident said.
