As the Ministry of Defense reported earlier, on 16 November, at around 13:00, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched another provocation in the direction of the eastern border of the Republic of Armenia, firing on the Armenian positions.
According to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, that according to preliminary data, two servicemen of the Azerbaijani army were wounded. According to them, the Armenian military units undertook an unexpected military operation in order to occupy heights in this direction of the state border, to occupy more advantageous positions.
The Ministry of Defense informs that the RA Armed Forces subdivisions took retaliatory actions to prevent the enemy’s advance. The Ministry of Defense will regularly issue messages on further developments in the situation.
