Four citizens of the Russian Federation and one citizen of Uzbekistan and one of Ukraine have been arrested in Turkey on charges of military-political espionage, as well as of plotting to attack the Chechen oppositionists, RIA Novosti reported referring to Hurriyet.
The newspaper lists the names of the arrested. They are Russian citizens Abdullah Abdullayev, Ravshan Ahmedov, Beslan Rasayev, Aslanbek Abdulmuslimov, citizens of Ukraine Igor Efrim, and Uzbekistan, Amir Yusupov.
Earlier, a RIA Novosti source reported that six people had been arrested in Turkey on suspicion of plotting to attack and spying on foreigners, all from Chechnya.
