Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is in prison No. 12 in Rustavi, has sent another message. On Monday morning, the lawyers visited the former president, who conveyed the message.
“It is an election; AND attention must be paid to it… We must change the country by various methods, including the most important thing – to take the victory in the elections. I, for my part, will do everything possible, even in the conditions of a hunger strike. It is necessary to live until October 30, without mourning for me prematurely, it is probably better to shake hands and celebrate the victory together,” Saakashvili’s message reads.
It should be reminded that on October 1, the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation on Saakashvili’s illegal crossing of the border. The investigation is being conducted in accordance with Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The former President of Georgia was arrested on October 1 in Tbilisi.
