The Armenian National Committee of America has issued a statement stating, “The most shameful diplomatic appointment in the history of diplomacy.

“Most shameful diplomatic appointment in the history of diplomacy Genocide survivor state Israel sending George Deek (an ethnic Armenian descendent of Armenian Genocide survivors) as ambassador to Azerbaijan, a country openly working to complete this crime.” the statement of the Commission reads.
