Information and Public Relations department of Syunik Governor’s Office has released Suren Khachaturian’s announcement, which reads:
“I am sorry that I could not stop the tragic incident that had taken place near my house. Currently the objective investigation shall give the replies to all issues. Everyone shall be responsible for their actions. Including Suren Khachatryan, the RA citizen. I have decided to seize the authorities of the Governor until the end of preliminary inquiry. I have already had the permission of my superior. Since this moment I no longer perform the duties of Syunik Governor.”
