The court rejected the investigator’s motion to detain Marina Malakhyan

The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan rejected the motion of the investigator to detain the former principal of School No. 122 of Yerevan Marina Malakhyan.

Iravaban.net reports that the court confirmed the fact that Malakhyan’s arrest was illegal and that she was released.

The decision can be appealed to the Criminal Court of Appeal within 5 days.

Earlier, one of the school teachers provided the media with a recording of giving and receiving bribes with the participation of her principal.

The recording of Meline Hakobyan and principal Marina Malakhyan’s conversation mentioned that the teacher was hired for paying $ 1,500, and then regularly paid a part of her salary to the principal.

A criminal case has been initiated on the fact, under articles on giving, receiving bribe and bribery mediation.

Earlier, Minister of Education and Science Vahram Dumanyan had signed an order to terminate the Marina Malakhyan’s certificate of the head of the basic school N 122 after A.Blok.
