Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said that Turkey cannot provide asylum to refugees from Afghanistan, Ahval reports.
“Turkey has fully fulfilled its moral and humanitarian obligations towards migration. There can be no question of an additional wave of refugees,” he said.
Earlier, a spokesman for the ruling Justice and Development Party, Omer Celik, said the country did not have the resources to accept even one additional migrant and that Turkey was not a refugee camp.
