An exhibition-sale entitled “Artsakh Lives” was organized by the “Genesis Armenia” initiative in Yerevan today, on 17 July. The exhibition hall was provided by “Pyunik” All-Armenian Fund for Human Resources Development.
In the presented 9 pavilions, the forcibly displaced people from Artsakh displayed handmade jewelry, dolls, a number of Armenian-made products, foods, and, of course, zhengyal bread, which is considered the symbol of Artsakh.
The aim of the event was to make the products of the people of Artsakh recognizable, to make them famous in both local and international markets.
Nelli Poghosyan, co-founder of the “Artsakh Taste” cannery, says that during the war they, with Artsakh women started producing canned food, particularly various sours. Now they have a workshop and about 30 types of products are already sold in almost all supermarkets in Armenia. They are made by the hands of Hadrut women.
