Today, on 18 February, the application of Syuzanna Patvakanyan, the parent who lost her child, was examined in Kentron residence of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan. Judge Karen Ferkhoyan presided the session.

The Ajapnyak-Davtashen regional branch of the Civil Registry Agency refused to provide Syuzanna Patvakanyan with a certificate on the existence of her child’s Stella Patvakanyan birth certificate. A criminal case was initiated on the case of official falsification, but it was terminated due to lack of corpus delicti.

Patvakanyan’s representative Marat Kostanyan mentioned that the decision to terminate the case is groundless, it should be declared invalid.

At 17:50 the court announced the decision on the appeal, which was rejected.
