Within the framework of the “Women in Legislature” series, Iravaban.net spoke with Taguhi Tovmasyan, an independent deputy of the National Assembly.
The deputy was born in Vardenis. She is a journalist by profession, has a master’s degree in political science. Until 2011 she worked in various media, and in 2011 founded “Zhoghovurd” daily, ArmLur.am news website. On 9December, 2018, she was elected a Deputy of the National Assembly by the territorial electoral list of constituency No. 8 of the “My Step” Party Alliance.
We talked with the deputy about the 9 November statement, the decision to leave the faction and the war.
