The optimal solution to the issue of the return of Armenian captives is the “all for all” exchange. The statement came from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing on February 11.
“As for the return of Armenian prisoners of war, we are working with both our Azerbaijani and Armenian partners, including the Russian peacekeeping force stationed in the conflict zone. In general, we proceed from the fact that the optimal solution to this issue is the exchange of ‘all for all’,” Zakharova said.
She also noted that a few days ago another exchange of prisoners took place through the mediation of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
