During a day, 306 refugees returned to Nagorno Karabakh, Russian peacekeepers ensured the security of movement, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
“306 people were transported from Yerevan to Stepanakert by buses today. The buses were moving under the escort of the Russian peacekeeping force, the military police,” the statement said.
It is noted that the Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation around the clock, controlling 23 observation posts in order to maintain the ceasefire. More than 42,000 refugees have already returned to Nagorno-Karabakh to their permanent homes.
