On 8 December, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan published a list of servicemen killed during the 45-day war. The list includes photos, names, surnames, information on military ranks and information on the dates of birth of the martyrs.

“Free Azerbaijan” website wrote, “We have repeatedly expressed our distrust of the number of killed servicemen, but our suspicions were confirmed when, after the publication of the list, Azerbaijani social media users began to complain that the names of their dead relatives were missing from the list. Our editors were also contacted by our readers, who said that the names of their dead relatives were not on the list of the Ministry of Defense. Their request, our call to our leadership, is that they publicly announce the real number of victims, allow the public to recognize their heroes.”

It should be reminded that the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced the death of 2783 servicemen.
