The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

“On 21 November, within the framework of the Russian interdepartmental delegation’s visit to Armenia, the meeting of RA and RF Foreign Ministers Ara Ayvazyan and Sergey Lavrov took place.

Welcoming the members of the delegation, Minister Ayvazyan stressed the importance of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in maintaining peace and stability in the region, especially recently. According to the Minister, recent developments have also changed a lot in the perception of regional stability and security.

Following the recent telephone conversation, the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation exchanged views on a number of issues related to the bilateral and regional agenda.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia were able to maintain the dynamics and intensity of the dialogue at various levels, including through mutual visits. Minister Ayvazyan accepted the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov to pay a working visit to Moscow in the near future.”
