There are already two people arrested in the case of the attack on the Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

“Not everyone has been arrested, but the arrests of criminals have begun,” he said.

Earlier it was informed that a group of people gathered near the National Assembly had beaten the Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan. A video has been published on the Internet, where it is seen how Mirzoyan’s car is blocked, after which he is taken out of the car and beaten.

Rustam Bakoyan, a member of the “My Step” faction informed that he was operated on and wrote on his Facebook page: “My friend, dear Ararat, strength to you, my brother. Thank God your life is not in danger,” the MP wrote.

Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan informed about the incident: “The violence used against the RA National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan is unacceptable and condemnable, as it is mentioned, in the conditions when the child was in the car. I wish the RA NA Speaker a speedy recovery.”
