Open letter of lawyer Vache Baghdasaryan to the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Dear Mr. Prime Minister.

From 27 September until today, I participate in the sacred work of defending our homeland. Thousands of Armenians like me went to the front to fight for the salvation of Armenia and Artsakh against the Azerbaijani-Turkish terrorist groups. Many of them became heroes and sacrificed their most precious lives for the sake of the homeland. For 44 days our brave soldiers have been fighting for life and death and today you are making a statement without taking into account the opinion of the people, without taking into account the opinion of the soldier fighting to the death on the battlefield, without taking into account the opinions of the families of all the boys killed. In case of signing the points, you cross over the statehood and sovereignty of Armenia, because with that a part of Artsakh comes under the rule of the Turks, the same Turk settles at the gates of Syunik, and that is a threat for the whole of Armenia. Based on the above, taking into account the fact that I am from Kapan and Syunik, I would like to inform that:

1. You have no moral right to put your signature under that document.
2. If you sign, you will be thrown in the dustbin of history.
3. There is a way out of this situation to fight at all costs, using all the means available in our arsenal.
4. Remember, by handing over even a part of Artsakh to the enemy, you open new opportunities for the same enemy, as you mentioned a few days ago, to achieve its genocidal goals.
5. And at the end, remember these lines: “States live with patriotism; they die from lack of it.”
