Turkey can join the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with the consent of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, Vedomosti reports .
“As for the participation of third countries in the existing format, it depends entirely on the political will of the parties to the conflict. There are two sides to the conflict: Azerbaijan and Armenia. Participation in the settlement of the conflict, mediation or participation in the format is possible only with the consent of both parties,” Peskov said.
He noted that the points mentioned in the ceasefire agreements are not observed.
It should be reminded that earlier Turkey expressed a desire to join the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. On 21 October, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that now it is impossible to resolve the Karabakh conflict by diplomatic means. According to the Prime Minister, Baku now only agrees to the surrender of Karabakh, which is absolutely unacceptable for Armenia.
