Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today that ” The efforts of the Russian Federation are now concentrated on contacts for a settlement in Karabakh, and it is difficult to imagine more active steps.”
“It is difficult to imagine more active steps than are being taken now,” Peskov was quoted by RIA Novosti .
According to him, this is where Russia’s efforts are now concentrated in order to “help the belligerent parties to cease fire and begin the political and diplomatic process of settlement.”
Peskov added that “Russia is one of the countries that can mediate in the settlement of this conflict.”
