Today, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which he thanked him for his support in connection with the latest events in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. TASS:informs:

“Your very open and tough statements have once again shown that Azerbaijan is not alone in its rightful cause. The heads of the relevant state structures, members of parliament and representatives of the Turkish public have also expressed their unambiguous attitude to the issue,” the message published on the website of the Azerbaijani president says. … Aliyev called this “another vivid example of Azerbaijani-Turkish unity.”
