The examination of the motion to choose detention as a precautionary measure against PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan has just ended a the Shengavit residence of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Robert Papoyan,.
Returning from the deliberation room, the judge announced the decision. The court rejected the motion to detain Gagik Tsarukyan.
It should be reminded that as a result of 87 votes in favor, Gagik Tsarukyan had already been deprived of his parliamentary immunity .
Notably, earlier the National Security Service conducted a search in the private house of NA deputy Gagik Tsarukyan.
Further, the NSS informed that a criminal case has been initiated on the activities of “Onira Club” and “Shangri-La” casinos belonging to “Onira Club” LLC,which were presented as an investment of 61,146,139,340 billion AMD and caused the state 29,750,000,000 AMD. According to the second statement, the National Security Service revealed that in another criminal case, hundreds of cases of distributing election bribes by the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) were also revealed, in which the leading members of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) were also involved.
