Gagik Tsarukyan deprived of Immunity of Deputy: 87 Deputies voted in favor

Today, on 16 June, Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan presented in the National Assembly the petitions on giving consent to initiate criminal prosecution against Gagik Kolya Tsarukyan, NA Deputy, and on giving consent to deprive RA National Assembly Deputy Gagik Kolya Tsarukyan of his liberty.

Vahagn Hovakimyan, Chairman of the Counting Commission, presented the results of the secret ballot on giving consent to initiate criminal proceedings against Gagik Tsarukyan.

87 deputies took part in the voting, 87 deputies voted “for”, 0 “against”. The decision has been adopted.

Thus, Gagik Tsarukyan was deprived of his immunity.
