Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:
“As of 21 May, a total of 309 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Gegharkunik region, of which 121 have been cured and 4 have died.
Thus, we have 19 new cases of coronavirus disease and 2 recovered.
Regarding the death, we inform that the patient was 64 years old (male) and had concomitant chronic diseases.
We have confirmed cases in Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Shatvan, Sotk, Norakert, Tsovinar, Tsovazard, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (city), Khachaghbyur, Areguni, Lchashen, Tchakkar, Verin Getashen, BVarser, Arpunk, Tsovak, Pokr Masrik, Vardadzor, Zolakar, Geghamasar, Gandzak and Chkalovka communities. “
