From 25 May, wearing masks in closed and open public places becomes mandatory. Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant of the State of Emergency Tigran Avinyan announced in the National Assembly.

“Those who violate the rules will be fined by the police. In fact, these weakenings require additional effort, attention and responsibility on our part to keep the rate of infection on the same level as possible now, and the health care system can serve all patients with mild, moderate and heavy conditions,” the Commandant said.

He mentioned that when saying a mask, it is not necessary to understand only three-layer medical masks, they can even be masks created at home. Notably, from 18 May the public transport will operate, the closed food facilities, sports halls, pre-school establishments will be opened.
