Deputy Governor of Syunik Narek Babayan issued a statement, which reads:

“Dear citizens of Syunik, I am glad to inform that the double test of all patients with coronavirus in the region was negative.

All the infected people recovered and were discharged from the hospital. Of course, this is both satisfying and binding. In this regard, I urge you to strictly follow the instructions of the Commandant, to show prudence and public responsibility. Follow the official news, don’t panic and stay alert. I would like to express my gratitude to all the medical workers who are selflessly working these days, who are, of course, today’s heroes.”
