Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health Alina Nikoghosyan reports:
“A case of death was registered in the “St. Grigor Lusavorich” Medical Centre. The 73-year-old patient had coronavirus disease, confirmed bilateral pneumonia. The man also had chronic diseases that accompanied him: ischemic heart disease, hypertension.
During the treatment there was an exacerbation of chronic diseases: arrhythmias, persistent fever, and ischemic stroke.
As of 15 April, we have 48 new cases of coronavirus disease and 61 survivors. ”
The total number of deaths from coronavirus is 18.
