Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health Alina Nikoghosyan reports:
“As of 10 April, two deaths have been registered, one of which was announced by the Minister yesterday.
The 86-year-old and 81-year-old patients had coronavirus disease, confirmed bilateral pneumonia. In addition, they have had chronic illnesses, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and coronary heart disease.
We have 29 new cases of coronavirus disease և 24 recovered.”
As we have already informed, there are 13 deaths in Armenia due to coronavirus.
According to the data of yesterday, 10 April, at 11 o’clock in the morning, there were 11 cases, later, during the sitting of the Standing Committee on Health and Social Affairs of the National Assembly, the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan informed about the 12th case of death. “At the moment we already have 12 deaths, the patient who died in the morning, was an 81-year-old citizen with serious illnesses. This will be seen in tomorrow’s figures.
It should be added that as of 11 April, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia is 966.
