The threat of acute respiratory infections, in particular coronavirus, remains on the agenda, so the Food Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia is pursuing its recommendation to disinfect daily chains.

Visits of HLI inspectors to major sales points in cities and villages of all regions of the country indicate that businesses are taking responsibility for preventing infections.

Surfaces within direct contact of consumers are especially disinfected, avoiding contact with open products.

The Inspectorate urges all sales and public catering establishments to periodically carry out preventive disinfection in their areas, thereby combating the spread of possible infections.
