At 2:40 pm police received a call that there was an armed person at the “Erebuni Plaza” Hotel.
Police spokesman Ashot Aharonyan reports that the situation is stable and controllable, acting police chief, police colonel Arman Sargsyan has held talks with the man.
There are no casualties at this time.
It is reported that as a result of negotiations, the person handed over the weapon.
