Iranian General Sulaiman was preparing to carry out an assassination attempt on a number of US diplomats and servicemen, said Robert O’Brien, the United States National Security Advisor, speaking about his death.

“The information we have, and which we consider very reliable, indicates that Sulaiman and other conspirators were planning to kill a large number of US diplomats and soldiers in the coming days,” Fox News reported.

At the same time, O’Brien emphasized that Sulaiman’s death did not contradict the principles of US President Donald Trump.

“The president thinks that weakness is a provocation, and I believe we can find many such examples in history. This idea is the cornerstone of President Trump’s foreign and national security policy,” concluded the adviser to the head of state.
