Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Hafiz Pashayev has applied to President Ilham Aliyev for his dismissal, Trend reports.

In his application, Hafiz Pashayev noted that he had worked for 27 years in the state structures of independent Azerbaijan. Pashayev noted that he had always raised Azerbaijan’s interests, did everything to justify the trust of the founder of modern Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

Given the call for the involvement of new and young staff in the civil service to effectively implement reforms in Azerbaijan led by the head of state, Pashayev has decided to resign as deputy minister.
