The National Assembly did not adopt the package of reforms in the Electoral Code at the extraordinary session convened for the second time.

62 MPs voted “for”, 2 MPs – against, while 63 votes were required for the adoption of the reform package.

Nortably, on 22 October, the package for the amendments to the Electoral Code was not passed, as it received only 56 votes. The deputies of “Yelk” and “Tsarukyan” factions organized an action for collection of signatures to convene an extraordinary session today and to include this legislative package into the NA agenda again.
