As the investigation committee reports, member of the Founding Parliament Garegin Chuqhaszyan has changed his place of residence and didn’t show up to the prosecution body, thus violating the demands of the chosen precautionary measure.
In the scope of a criminal case currently investigated by the Chief Department of the CSI (Cases of Special Importance) a necessity has emerged to conduct investigative actions with the participation of the accused Garegin Chuqhaszyan and a number of other people and notices have been sent, as stipulated by law.
G. Chuqhaszyan for whom signature on not leaving was chosen as a precautionary measure didn’t show up to the prosecution body and had changed his place of residence without properly notifying the preliminary investigation body. Therefore, the demands of the chosen precautionary measure stipulated by law were violated. The court decided to choose detention as a precautionary measure for the accused Chukhazyan and he is currently wanted by the police.
