“Today, I need Guys who came to win and to live,” wrote the Cadet on the Day before the Murder

Arkadi Barseghyan, the father of murdered cadet Haykaz Barseghyan continues to insist that his son did not commit suicide.

Today he came to the court with the last written work of his son, the clarion call: “All the students were asked a question ‘a decisive battle awaits you, you are students, how can you make the trrops follow you?’ My son wrote a clarion call as the others did. A person who wrote such words would never commit a suicide just on the following day,” Mr. Barseghyan said.

“Today, I do not need guys who have come to die for Fatherland. I need guys who have come to fight and to live and to flourish their Fatherland. We should not think about the number of enemy and their weapons, because our army has the world’s most powerful weapon, which the enemy has no idea about, and which is present in everyone’s heart and mind,” this was the clarion call that Haykaz had written.

“Everyone at the Ministry were surprised that he wrote something like that at the age of 19. The very last lines are about our days is that the enemy has weapons, but we have mind,” the father said.

Today’s hearing lasted several minutes, the court should have passed the examination of evidence, but the defense filed a motion to involving experts in the trial who will work with evidence so that their accuracy is not questioned in future.

The court suspended the hearing.
