According to the RA President’s Decree the head of the Intelligence Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia A. Karapetyan, the Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia – Head of Logistics Department A. Mirzabekyan and the Head of Communication Troops of the Armed Forces – Automated Control Systems and Communications Department Komitas Muradyan are dismissed from their positions.
The Decree reads:
“Guided by article 12 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia with amendments of 2005 and based on Article 52, Part 1 (1) of the RA Law on Military Service I decide to:
Dismiss Major General Arshak Karapetyan from the position of the head of the Intelligence Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
Based on the Decision of the RA President of 18 July 2007, on the procedure defined in Paragraph 125 of 174N Order on the organization of functioning of the Republic of Armenia Government and other bodies of public administration, I decide to:
Dismiss Alik Mirzabekyan from the position of the Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia – Head of Logistics Department.
Guided by article 12 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia with amendments of 2005 and based on Article 52, Part 1 (1) of the RA Law on Military Service I decide to:
Dismiss Major General Komitas Muradyan from the position of the Head of Communication Troops of the Armed Forces – Automated Control Systems and Communications Department.”
