The Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori marz (judge N. Hovakimyan) ruled an acquittal decision on the case of Karen Kungurtsev. advocate Nina Karapetyants, wrote about it in her Facebook account. Kungurtsev was charged with the murder case (RA Criminal Code, Article 34-104), the prosecutor demanded a sentence of 9.5 years. The trial lasted 2 years and 7 month. Karen Kungurtsev was charged with the fact that on 12.1.2013 at about 18.00, he quarreled and with the intention of killed illegally David Hovakimyan stabbed in the left chest causing injuries, but when Davit’s friends came to help K. Kurgutseyev escaped.
After the incident D. Hovakimyan was moved to “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC, where he died at 21.35.
