Today, at the Government session, members of the Government honored the memory of fallen soldiers in a minute of silence before proceeding to the agenda. Then Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan asked Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan to brief the Cabinet on the situation in NKR.
The Minister introduced briefly the current situation on NKR-Azerbaijanian contact line, also noting the numerous losses of the Azerbaijani side, which are about ten times as many as those of the Defense Army.
Seyran Ohanyan noted the presence of the corpses of Azerbaijani soldiers and destroyed equipment in NKR territory. He also referred to such unprecedented war crimes as torture and decapitation done by the Azeris, as well as the large-scale operations unleashed by Azerbaijan. In addition, the Minister noted that the information spread by Azerbaijan about allegedly occupying the Talish and Seysulan settlements is wrong. He mentioned that these villages are located inside the NKR territory.
The Minister concluded his speech by saying that we must bow down before our soldiers, commanders, and volunteers, who threw back the Azeris that had unleashed this unprecedented act of aggression.
