Prosecutor Vahe Dolmazyan threw an object at Karen Kungortsev who is charged with attempted murder of 15-year-old Yerevan teenager Davit Hovakimyan.
Earlier the prosecutor demanded to a sentence Kungortsev for 9.5 years in prison.
Notably, on 11 October, 2013, after the handball championship held in Vanadzor town, a controversy occurred during which handballer David Hovakimyan was killed. The doctor Vladimir Ghukasyan has been sentenced for 3 years of imprisonment on this case, for unfair treatment and not proper performance of his professional duties.
Karen Kungortsev was initially charged with murder, then it was changed as an attempt of murder; he does not accept his guilty arguing that he hadn’t been at the scene of the crime. He also submitted an application to the Special Investigation Service.
