PACE rejected the first anti-Armenian Report “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno- Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan” report, prepared by Robert Walter, delegate from the United Kingdom. The report had raised a wave of hot debates among conflicting parties.
To recall: Back in Spring 2015, the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe had approved the controversial draft report of the UK delegate, which calls on “the withdrawal of Armenian forces from Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan, and to establish full sovereignty of Azerbaijan in the territories.”
