Advocate Ruben Baloyan, the representative of the aggrieved party in Vardan Petrosyan’s case, has lodged an appeal. The advocate informed this to Iravaban.net and added that the appeal was lodged with regard to Vardan Petrosyan’s punishment and the civil claim.
Vardan Petrosyan was sentenced to 5 years in prison. The Court did not consider the civil claim brought by the victim’s representative, where Ruben Balayan requested to exact 12 million 500 thousand AMD from the defendant.
On 24 February the accusation had submitted application for retrial as well
