Dozens of activists organized a protest action in front of the RA police today, on 15 December. First they gathered near A. Isahakyan’s statue, and then marched to the building of the RA.
In conversation with Iravaban.net they noted that recent arsons of the cars of civil activists, as well as violence occurrences against MP Aram Manukyan and the freedom fighters are interconnected. In the framework of the action “No to Violence against the State Terrorism” they blame the state for this violence and try to counteract it.
At this moment the demonstrators are trying to approach the main entrance of the RA Police building, but police did not allow them. They continue the action from the pavement chanting, “Shame, Shame!”
The activists blame the statements of made by the deputy Chief of Police, Commander of Police Forces, Lieutenant General Levon Yeranosyan, for which he recently received a reprimand.
