Today’s meeting of the “Republican” (RPA) Faction of the RA NA decided to recommend the First Deputy Minister of Justice Arman Tatoyan’s candidature to the position of the RA Human Rights Defender.
The session also noted that the issue of the candidates will be decided at the regular session of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, on 12 February.
Notably, after that session, the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs will present the candidate to the Ombudsman’s position to the National Assembly, which will take a decision.
