Aghasi Mkoyan, Judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori Marz has violated the Code of Conduct; he had shown unruly behavior toward the journalist Adrine Torsosyan. The Commission on Ethics and Disciplinary Issues of the General Assembly of Judges came to such conclusion after consideration of the judge’s conduct.
Adrine Torosyan told to Iravaban.net that currently she intended to apply to the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia, and to draw to their attention to the fact that during the court session on a criminal case on 30 April 2015, the judge hindered her professional activities and prevented her to make a video and audio record of the session, although the parties had given their consent. At the same time the judge did not reasoned his decision . In addition he also shouted at the journalist.
