According Article 26 of the Republic of Armenia Law on Freedom of Assemblies, urgent is the assembly, which is organized and conducted with the purpose to urgently respond to an event, and this purpose cannot be attained under condition of following the time limit for presenting a notification.

According to Article 27, the organizer of an urgent assembly shall immediately inform the Authorized Body and the Police on it prior to taking the steps for conducting the assembly.

Spontaneous and urgent assemblies may not last longer than six hours.
