MP Gagik Jhangiryan, the former Military Prosecutor of the RA, believes that the case of the brutal murder in Gyumri should be conducted by the RA Law Enforcement Bodies.
“Valeri Permyakov was arrested in the zone under the survilance of the fronteer troops, by the Russian law enforcement bodies. As for the murder case, it shall be considered under the requirements of article 4 of the Agreement regulating the relations Between the Republic od Armenia and the Russian federation concerning the Russian Military Base in the Territory of the Republic of Armenia.”
According to Mr. Jhangiryan, in all cases Valri Permyakov’s trial should be carried out by Russian military court.
