Based on the report of Citizen Zorik M., a criminal case under the provisions of Article 177 of the Criminal Code of the Ra was initiated in the Special Investigation Service of the RA.
According to the citizen’s report. On 19 April 2014 at around 17:00, during a domestic dispute with the police officers the State Protection Service of Yerevan Police Department, the policemen knock in different parts of his body with hands and feet.
The Information Department Special Investigation Service informed that the prejudicial inquiry is in process.
Note. Everyone charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
